2011 NZMYC Coastal Classic

Crac-A-Jac a Farr 727 has entered again in New Zealand's famous Coastal Classic which marks the start of the boating summer season.

This will be the fourth Coastal Classic for 15 year old skipper Edwin Delaat and second time two-handed with fellow coastal sailor Steve Alloway.

In 2008's Coastal Classic at twelve Edwin was the youngest entrant and crew on Starlight Express, a 55ft Davidson. In 2009 he became the youngest skipper on his Farr 727 Crac-A-Jac. (Click on "Related Articles and Links" below to find out more)

Auckland to Tauranga 2011

BMW Auckland Regatta 2011

Crac-A-Jac with skipper/owner Edwin Delaat and a full crew will be participating in the BMW Auckland Regatta 2011.

The event consists of three days of racing including windward-leeward and harbour courses. 61 entries have been received so far.

Round White Island Ocean Race 2010

Edwin Delaat will be participating in the annual Round White Island Ocean Race 2010 on Team Hyundai Promise.

This will be Edwin Delaat's second Round White Island Ocean Race as he crewed on Ragtime/Infidel in 2008 at the age of 12.

Edwin Delaat has entered his Farr 727 Crac-A-Jac again in New Zealand's famous Coastal Classic which marks the start of the boating summer season.

This will be Edwin's third Coastal Classic and he intents to sail two-handed with fellow coastal sailor Steve Alloway.

In 2008's Coastal Classic Edwin was the youngest entrant and crew on Starlight Express, a 55ft Davidson. In 2009 he became the youngest skipper on his Farr 727 Crac-A-Jac. (Click on "Related Articles and Links" below to find out more)
